Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the difference between infidelity and an affair?
- Infidelity is an umbrella term for any betrayal of trust in a committed relationship, including emotional affairs, pornography use, secret sexual behaviour, one-night stands, and sex work. An affair specifically refers to an ongoing emotional or sexual relationship with another person outside the partnership.
- Do you work with both partners after infidelity?
- Yes, I work with individuals and couples. I maintain equal compassion for all parties involved, including the partner who experienced betrayal and the partner who engaged in infidelity. There is no judgement or blame assigned.
- How long does infidelity recovery take?
- Recovery timelines vary significantly based on individual circumstances. The Infidelity Healing Journey™ is not a quick fix but a structured process that honours each person's pace. Some couples see meaningful progress within months, while others may take longer.
- Do you offer online sessions?
- Yes, I offer online sessions Australia-wide and internationally via secure video. Many clients prefer the convenience and privacy of online counselling.
- What are your fees?
- Standard sessions are $180-$230 for 50 minutes. Medicare rebates are available with a GP Mental Health Care Plan. Private health fund rebates may also apply depending on your coverage.
- Are you LGBTQIA+ friendly?
