Sexual intimacy is a vital part of romantic relationships, yet it's often the first thing to fade during stress, conflict, or major life changes. Whether you're experiencing desire differences, performance concerns, or emotional disconnection, sex therapy provides a safe, professional space to explore and restore your sexual and emotional connection.
Do you have a loving, successful relationship but feel that the passion has gone — or that the relationship feels strained and you just can't reach each other anymore? It's possible for that to change with the right guidance and support.
If you've lost your libido through the pressures of parenting, work stress, menopause, or relationship difficulties, there are ways to reconnect — both emotionally and physically.
Sex therapy also supports people dealing with porn or sexual addiction, sexual shame, sexual dysfunction, and difficulties communicating about sexual needs.
I'm an open-minded, sex-positive therapist — kink-aware and welcoming to swingers, polyamorous and LGBTQIA+ clients. Whatever your background or preferences, you'll be met with warmth, respect, and curiosity — never judgment.
You're Not Alone
Sexual concerns are incredibly common, affecting up to 43% of women and 31% of men. Most issues are highly treatable with professional support and open communication.

My Approach to Sex Therapy
I use evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Sensate Focus, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), emotionally focused methods, and guided intimacy practices. My approach is:
- Non-judgemental, sex-positive, and professional: Creating a safe space to discuss intimate topics
- Holistic: Addressing physical, emotional, and relational factors
- Practical: Providing exercises and tools you can practise at home
- Communication-focused: Teaching partners to talk openly about sex and emotional needs
- Inclusive: Supporting all relationship structures, orientations, and expressions of desire
What to Expect in Sex Therapy
First Session: We'll discuss your sexual history, current concerns, relationship dynamics, and goals. This conversation, while intimate, is conducted with warmth, respect, and confidentiality.
Treatment Plan: Together, we'll develop a personalised approach that may include communication exercises, sensate focus techniques, education, and strategies for addressing emotional or relational barriers.
Homework: Most sex therapy includes gentle exercises to practise between sessions. These are designed to reduce pressure, rebuild connection gradually, and reignite emotional safety and desire.
Rebuilding Intimacy After Infidelity
Betrayal trauma often deeply impacts sexual intimacy. I specialise in helping couples navigate the complex emotions around sex after infidelity, including:
- • Processing intrusive thoughts and triggers
- • Rebuilding safety and trust in physical closeness
- • Addressing performance anxiety and hypervigilance
- • Creating new, authentic sexual connection
Confidentiality & Professional Standards
All discussions about sexual concerns are held in complete confidence. I adhere to strict professional and ethical standards, providing a safe, judgment-free environment where you can openly discuss intimate topics.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do we need to demonstrate or show anything physical?
No. Sex therapy is talk therapy. We discuss issues verbally, and I provide education and exercises to practise privately at home.
Can I come alone or do I need my partner?
Both options work. Couples therapy is ideal when both partners are willing to participate, but individual sex therapy can also be highly effective for personal sexual concerns.
Should I see my doctor first?
It can be helpful to rule out medical causes for sexual difficulties. I often work collaboratively with doctors when physical factors are involved.
