Payment is due at the time of each session. I accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments, though PayID is preferred.
Medicare Rebates
Clients with a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) and GP referral may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $89.50 per 50-minute session under the Better Access initiative, leaving an out-of-pocket cost of $140.50.
Rebates are processed through Halaxy the following morning and usually appear in your bank account within 24 hours.

Private Health Insurance
Many Australian private health funds offer rebates for counselling and relationship therapy, depending on your level of cover.
A full itemised invoice is emailed to you the next morning to claim directly with your provider.
Popular funds include: Medibank, Bupa, HCF, NIB, Australian Unity, and HBF.
Cancellation Policy
More than 24 hours' notice: No charge.
Less than 24 hours' notice: Full session fee applies.

Common Questions
Can I claim couples counselling with Medicare?
Medicare covers individual therapy sessions only. Couples or relationship counselling is not eligible unless the session focuses on one partner's mental health under a valid MHCP.
How are rebates processed?
Medicare rebates are handled automatically through Halaxy and paid to your bank account within 24 hours. Private health rebates can be claimed using the invoice emailed to you the next morning.
